I am one to not make huge weight loss goals. I find myself getting discouraged if I step on the scale every week, and the results are smaller than what I wanted. I am one to have a certain article of clothing waiting for me to wear. So, this last week, I put on a pair of shorts that just two weeks ago were way too small. I mean way too small, not going past the hips too small. Well, now I have this dress that I love. It is a shirt dress, I bought last spring. I was able to wear it to a wedding last summer, and now I hope to fit into it by another wedding next month. Now, I might not wear it, but I hope I can button all the buttons confidently, and strut my stuff.
I have this good size tote in the garage full of clothes I haven't gotten rid of, knowing that I WOULD wear these clothes again. I am happy to say, that this time, I KNOW I will wear that stuff again. It will be fun, to get them out and slip, not stuff, into them.

Yummy, easy recipe
I think it is a good idea for us to post recipes that either we have made up, or found in a cookbook that we really enjoy. Nick and I are not doing weight watchers, so I do not know the point value, but you can figure it out.
Grilled Chicken Salad.
Here' s what you do.... marinate your chicken in ceasar dressing for about an hour. The longer the better, but an hour is fine. Grill until done. How easy is that? Tonight we had it in a salad with radish, cucumber, and peas. It was so refreshing and good on this hot night. The first time I tried this, I scewered the chicken, and the kids could not get enough. Next time, I am going to try it either as a sandwich or wrap. Anyway, it is super easy and delicious.
I did a bootcamp circuit workout today, and it was amazing. Sweat was dripping. The bike ride home is getting a lot easier, even with the small incline that kicked my butt two weeks ago.
So, I hope others are having success in their journey!

Yay! for me
So, I will be the first to blog some success. We started this blog a week ago, so come on guys let's blog. About two weeks ago, Nick and I started diligently working out. I go to Butterfly gym, while Nick rides his bike. He is turning into quite the biker. In fact, last night I bought him an odometer for his bike. Anywhoo, two weeks ago, I set a goal for myself, and I happy to say, it was achieved. I have a pair of shorts that I love, and well, since Lucy has been here, I haven't been able to wear them. I have not missed a day working out. (minus Sundays) and I tried them on, and they fit. Yay for me. I was so happy, I instantly called Nick to share my news.
Okay, so now, let's blog some good news!!!!
